"Mogosoaia" Shelter

shelter for stray dogs house dogs and court dogs The stray dogs shelter from Mogosoaia was established in 1979. the founder members are remarkable personalities of the Romanian society who managed to create the National Committee of Animal Protection (NCAP) together with other open hearted people who understood that love for the suffering animals must become a responsibility and a civic act. The shelter has a surface of 2002m2 - with deed of property. It has sheltered a varied number of dogs having a permanent hauling time. The ones given to adoption left the shelter and the others spent the rest of their lives being sheltered, taken care, and, most of all, loved. In the last years a lot of investments have been made subject to the available assets, today the shelter being a very modern one. It has all the necessary utilities: hidrophore, electric power, pits, engine sump, kennels, roves, canopies, two veterinary consulting rooms (endowed with all is necessary to the medical act), postoperatives. A surface of 840m2 has been obtained for long time use. We have a veterinary doctor and several assistants working permanently as volunteers. The medical act and the gelds are under our continuous observation. Our dogs have reached the number 200; part of them are very old dogs, but their majority is of young ones. We try to give them for real and controllable adoption. We have accepted in leasing an investment in these utilities and we are to payn them off in 3 or 4 years time through monthly rates.
